4150 no longer to organise
‘Peep Behind the Scenes’ is an annual event which has been organised by [[The 4150 Fund]]. An additional £5.00 charge applies applied on the day for a wristband allowing access to areas normally closed to the public, including of course [[GWR Large Prairie 4150|No 4150 ]] in [[Bewdley Down Yard|Bewdley Yard]]. Money raised through the sale of wristbands goes went towards the 4150 Restoration Fund.
Other areas to which access has been available in previous years have included [[Carriage Repair Works | Kidderminster Carriage Repair Works]], [[Kidderminster Carriage Shed]] (via a shuttle train from Kidderminster Station), [[Kidderminster signal box]], [[Bewdley North signal box]], [[Bewdley Carriage & Wagon Department]] and [[Bridgnorth MPD]].
In its 2017 newsletter the 4150 Fund announced that after seven years, it would no longer be organising the event, which is being taken over by the [[Severn Valley Railway Charitable Trust Ltd|Charitable Trust]].<ref>4150 Fund Newsletter 2017, January 2017</ref>
