Has recently completed the upgrading of the interior of Tourist Third Open (TTO) 43600 in conjunction with a scheduled overhaul by SVR(H). £13k was raised by private sponsorship to improve the seating, tables and wall lamps, plus new mirrors, luggage racks and coathooks. Replica LNER pattern moquette was also provided by the Trust to cover the seats. TTO 52255 is to be similarly improved this year, and work has commenced on the seats, tables and lamp fittings.
The Group's current project at Bewdley is the restoration of Corridor Brake 3rd (BTK) 70759, which is currently (Jan 2015)being fitted out with lamps, luggage racks, heaters, pictures and mirrors. Seating to follow shortly.
