Quiller is a BBC Television drama series starring Michael Jayston. The 13 episodes first aired between August and November 1975. Since its original transmission, the series has never been repeated on the BBC or other channels, or released on Blu-ray or DVD, although it can be found on YouTube.[1]
Filming on the SVR[edit | edit source]
Episode 9 "Political Jungle" first aired on 31 October 1975. Scenes for this episode in which Quiller, a British agent, rescues a hostage held in a Central American country, were filmed at Bewdley, Northwood Halt and Alveley Sidings.
The driver was Jim Bodfish.[2][3] The locomotive used was 45110 and the other rolling stock included the Ex-Longmoor Saloons.
