- 1984 D1013 Western Ranger hauled a works train into Kidderminster, the first such movement after it became SVR property.[1]
- 2001 The Stanier 8F Locomotive Society staged a celebration to mark that during April 48773 reached 100,000 miles in preservation.[2]
- 2001 813 commenced a stay at the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway.
- 2014 BR Class 37 37906 left the SVR.
