Extract from the OS 25in map published in 1883 showing the area around Coalport. The GWR station is situated south of the River Severn, opposite the rival LNWR's Coalport East station to the north of the river. The latter station provided sidings for John Rose & Co.'s famous Coalport China Works (top left).
