LNWR Timetable for Tenbury to Woofferton 1921. At the time, the former Tenbury Railway was jointly owned by the LNWR and GWR. The GWR operated the services over this section, many of which continued to Bewdley and Kidderminster, although the LNWR also had running rights.

The Shrewsbury and Hereford Railway which ran through Woofferton was also jointly owned by the LNWR and GWR, and locomotives from the GWR shed at Ludlow, a short way north of Woofferton, were used on the Tenbury Branch.[1] The pattern of services is similar to the 1922 timetable where the times for trains over the whole Tenbury Branch can be seen. The first service from Woofferton originated at Ludlow, the workings being:

  • Ludlow 6:50 to Woofferton 6:58
  • Woofferton 7:08 to Tenbury 7:20
  • Tenbury 7:30 to Woofferton 7:41
  • Woofferton 8:15 to Kidderminster 9:45

etc
