The GWR 813 Preservation Fund is an unincorporated membership organisation founded in 1966. There is currently no annual subscription and membership is granted to those making a minimum donation amount. It owns the [[GWR 813 Saddle Tank | GWR 813 Saddle Tank locomotive]] and many of the GWR [[Goods Wagons|goods wagons]] on the SVR, as well as a number of other items on the SVR and on other preserved lines, with their collection numbering almost 100. The Fund runs a [[GWR 813 Sales Stand | sales stand]] at [[Kidderminster | Kidderminster]] Station.
On 23 November 2019 the Rouse family donated to the Fund a large portion of [[Image Collections#David_Rouse_Collection|David Rouse's photographic archive]]. It will take some time for the Fund to go through the collection.<ref>The GWR 813 Preservation Fund Facebook page 23 November 2019</ref>
In due course the Fund intends it will become a charitable trust or other similar organisation.
