'''The Box Of of Delights''' is a BBC children's drama series produced in of six episodes first broadcast on BBC1 between 21 November and 24 December 1984 starring . It starred Devin Stanfieldas the young boy Kay Harker, Patrick Troughton (the Second Doctor Who) as the scruffy but kindly Punch and Judy Man Cole Hawlings, and Robert Stephensas the sinister Abner Brown. ==Filming on the SVR==In episode 1 'When the Wolves were Running’, Kay is travelling home for Christmas. The series opens episode begins with film of a shot train of an SVR train GWR carriages hauled by loco [[Former Residents|former resident 3205]], passing through open countryside along the line and the first episode also includes scenes shot on arriving at ‘Musborough Junction’ (platform 2 of [[Bewdley]] station) where Kay alights to change trains. Here he meets Cole Hawlings for the first time. Aboard another train, a key scene takes place in a compartment, filmed while travelling between [[Highley]] and in the driveway of [[Arley]] station. Between the twoAlighting at 'Condicote Station' (Arley), Kay mysteriously meets Hawlings again in a key scene occurs inside shot on the compartment of station driveway. The final episode ‘Leave us not little, nor yet Dark’ ends with a moving train travelling from brief scene involving Kay and [[Highley4566]] to Arleyat Condicote.
