Steam locomotives at the SVR for contract work query
In the interests of standardisation, is there any preference for giving GWR class numbers as "45xx" or "4500"? I'm leaning towards the latter, as it maintains consistency with classes that didn't start on a round number (e.g. 4575, 2884). --Danny252 (talk) 11:21, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
:I'd suggest the full numeric version, for example 5101 class is used on both the Wikipedia GWR Locomotives page and the Great Western Archive. In fact unless there is a conflict between those two sites, I'd say use whatever they use.--Robin (talk) 14:45, 1 July 2016 (UTC) ==Steam locomotives at the SVR for contract work==What should be included where? The boiler shop overhauls and assembles contract boilers for full-size and ng locos. Should they be in here? When they leave (e.g. Dolgoch) which page should have them?--Patrick Hearn (talk) 20:22, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
