::I've added pictures of everything I've seen between the two with new pages where relevant, on the assumption that they are all valid crossings. It would be useful if someone who walks the line or knows the area could validate the descriptions and locations - in particular there was no mention in the original list of the crossing south of milepost 144¾ but north of 144½ which looks long-standing, while the one that is actually south of 144½ (the dirt track with the open gates) looks much newer. As a regular passenger, I'd hate for the trainee signalers to be relying on wrong information!

::When I put together the list originally, I recall I did have trouble marrying up the contents of the General Appendix with the OS map on that stretch of line. It didn't help that I've never walked that stretch myself, and that there aren't many identifying features even shown on a map - that's why so many are just in the list as "crossing south of MP X" and so on. --WillSalt (talk) 21:29, 16 June 2015 (UTC)

A449 bridge reconstruction
I feel the following from the GWR Magazine of November 1926 is relevant and wants recording somewhere, but until, if ever, we do a full infrastructure list from Hartlebury to Shrewsbury, I don't know where. "The bridge which carries the Severn Valley line over the road at Hartlebury is to be reconstructed" --Graham Phillips 110 (talk) 14:38, 20 December 2022 (UTC)

:Thanks. I've updated the Stourport Branch page which covers all the infrastructure between Hartlebury and Bewdley including that bridge. Curiously there is no equivalent page covering the whole section north of Bridnorth - maybe something I'll get around to at some point. --Robin (talk) 15:59, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
