I've been told this locomotive was stored at Bridgnorth around 1969/70, which would make it the SVR's first diesel locomotive if correct. :The 1971/2 stock book (August 1971) had Highflyer as the only diesel. The 1972/3 stock book had the next two as well, with Mary described as having arrived from Hindlow by road on 24 June 1972.
