I've been told this locomotive was stored at Bridgnorth around 1969/70, which would make it the SVR's first diesel locomotive if correct. :The 1971/2 stock book (August 1971) had Highflyer as the only diesel. The 1972/3 stock book had the next two as well, with Mary described as having arrived from Hindlow by road on 24 June 1972. I've been told this locomotive was stored at Bridgnorth around 1969/70, which would make it the SVRSevern Valley Railway's first diesel locomotive if correct. This contradicts the reference from SVRSevern Valley Railway news though, so I'll see what I can find out.--Graham Phillips 110 (talk) 13:35, 12 February 2018 (UTC)

The 1971/2 stock book (August 1971) had Highflyer as the only diesel. The 1972/3 stock book had the next two as well, with Mary described as having arrived from Hindlow by road on 24 June 1972. It would seem fairly conclusive, but you never know... --Robin (talk) 15:26, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
