Talk:GWR 2815 Fruit C Van

The article previously read that 2815 began life as 70843 in the wagon series. The other Fruit C, GWR 2424 Fruit Van, began as wagon 79969 in 1911 and was then renumbered into the brown vehicle series in 1917. Being built much later, 2815 started in the brown vehicle series in 1937 and was renumbered 070843 in the Internal User series at the end of its life, all as per Longworth etc. I assume the original wording was a drafting error on my part copying one article to the other, I can't find any evidence that it was correct. --Robin (talk) 14:12, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
