:Possibly add level 1 headings for blocks of 5 or 10 years, and make the individual years level 2 headings. You can then limit the TOC to level 1 headings only using <nowiki>{{toclimit|limit=1}}</nowiki>. Should references to 50007 Edward Elgar and 50007 Hercules be tied together somehow?

Prompted by Patrick's comment on Nat Pres that the first ever SVR Diesel Gala was held in May 1987, this page began with 1986 as the Stock Book 9th edition stated that the first visiting diesel was in March of that year. However SVR News suggests it was at Kidderminster as a static exhibit which explains the discrepancy.
