Graham, I presume the reported 1910 bore for a coal mine in Wyre Forest would have been adjacent to the Bewdley/Tenbury branch on the other side of Dowles Bridge, rather than on the SVR? Presumably one could trace the spot by measuring half a mile along the railway from Wyre Forest Stn towards Bewdley, I've had a quick OS check but the map was 1904 so nothing was there. Graham, I presume the reported 1910 bore for a coal mine in Wyre Forest would have been adjacent to the Bewdley/Tenbury branch on the other side of Dowles Bridge, rather than on the SVRSevern Valley Railway? Presumably one could trace the spot by measuring half a mile along the railway from Wyre Forest Stn towards Bewdley, I've had a quick OSOrdnance Survey check but the map was 1904 so nothing was there.
