I've added 2 LMS coaches which are in the last Stock Book I have and are also in the VCT database as being still at the SVR. Please update or delete if info is incorrect. --Robin (talk) 22:34, 4 March 2015 (UTC) | I've added 2 LMS coaches which are in the last Stock Book I have and are also in the VCT database as being still at the SVR. + | Robin's note reminded me: I realised the other week that the railway's GWR Siphon G wasn't listed anywhere - but wasn't sure where to put it. I filed it under Goods Wagons but as NPCCS it should probably be on this page. For that matter, how many Siphon Gs do we have? --WillSalt (talk) 18:12, 8 March 2015 (UTC) |

Should the Autocoaches be included here? Or are they a separate category?
- I think they count, though perhaps with a separate heading. --Danny252 (talk) 08:00, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
- I think they should definitely be listed here although I have mixed feeling whether or not they should be under a separate heading. Boldford (talk) 17:53, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
- I think they belong here with no need for a separate heading. I'm not so sure about the 5 DMUDiesel Multiple Unit cars though. They're not diesel locomotives and they're not exactly carriages, so it's either a separate heading on this page, or a page to themselves linked from the List of rolling stock page. Any preferences or other suggestions? --Graham Phillips 110 (talk) 00:08, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
- In the absence of further comment, I've gone with the last suggestions, ie added the auto coaches as carriages and added a link to the DMUDiesel Multiple Unit page from the rolling stock page.--Robin (talk) 23:51, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
The BRBritish Rail or British Railways coaches are described as Crimson & Cream under Set C, but as Carmine & Cream in the table. Should we stick to one description, and if so which?--Robin (talk) 20:38, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
- I was going by the information on www.bloodandcustard.net "The official Railways Executive designation was Crimson Lake - British Standard colour reference BS381C colour no.540 ‘crimson’."
- Assuming this source is reliable, all occurrences of 'carmine' should be changed to 'crimson' and perhaps an explanation added on the page.

I've added 2 LMSLondon Midland & Scottish Railway coaches which are in the last Stock Book I have and are also in the VCT database as being still at the SVRSevern Valley Railway. Please update or delete if info is incorrect. --Robin (talk) 22:34, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
- Amended, now only added one as the other was a duplicate under a different number
Robin's note reminded me: I realised the other week that the railway's GWRGreat Western Railway SiphonGWR telegraphic code signifying a milk van G wasn't listed anywhere - but wasn't sure where to put it. I filed it under Goods Wagons but as NPCCS it should probably be on this page. For that matter, how many SiphonGWR telegraphic code signifying a milk van Gs do we have? --WillSalt (talk) 18:12, 8 March 2015 (UTC)
