The chassis of 5634 has been at Bridgnorth for several years. It came from Crewe with the intention that the chassis work would be done at Bridgnorth with a completed boiler arriving later and the locomotive to operate at the SVR for approximately 5 years. Due to unfortunate unforeseen circumstances the boiler hasn't been forthcoming. An impasse now exists in that the SVR has already put a lot of money and effort into something that there is little prospect of becoming operational in the foreseeable future.

:6634 presumably? It was mentioned in Meet the Locos last time I looked, so ought to be referred to here for consistency. I'm off out but will add it later unless anyone gets there first.
