After preservation in 1986It could be driven from either end, meaning that unlike a locomotive-hauled train, it there was heavily rebuilt with components from other carriages to achieve a conversion no need to 'run round' at the terminus of a passenger carrying vehicle accommodating up to 16 wheelchair usersroute. In 2018-19 it underwent a further conversion into a "Wheelchair Diner", providing much needed access to Steam railmotors saw regular use on the SVR's Dining ServicesSevern Valley and Tenbury branches between 1905 and 1918.
