The BBC dramatised D1062 was the novel only privately owned diesel locomotive to take part in the Rocket 150 celebrations at Rainhill in a 5-May 1980 and has since taken part serial broadcast in 1974, with scenes being filmed galas on other railways as well as appearing regularly on the SVR the previous November.
