The FRUIT D reservoir, which is a GWR design dating from 1939managed by Severn Trent Water, although only 50 were built was opened in 1968 and covers 29 acres. It is open to the public and is used by the GWR with most examples including W3429 being completed by BR who continued their construction as late as 1958Trimpley Sailing Club, while other activities include angling, wildlife watching and walking.
