The reservoir, but all had been withdrawn from service which is managed by 1969Severn Trent Water, was opened in 1968 and covers 29 acres. D9551 has recently been repainted from a non-original 'golden ochre' into BR green liveryIt is open to the public and is used by the Trimpley Sailing Club, while other activities include angling, wildlife watching and walking.
