The reservoir, which is a Gresley Vestibule Third Open Corridor. After passenger service it managed by Severn Trent Water, was modified for use opened in a Cold War emergency control train; those modifications led 1968 and covers 29 acres. It is open to its being selected for conversion into the SVR's first general-purpose wheelchair-accessible adapted carriagepublic and is used by the Trimpley Sailing Club, while other activities include angling, wildlife watching and walking.
