After preservation in 1986, it was heavily rebuilt with components They arrived on loan from other carriages to achieve a conversion to a passenger carrying vehicle accommodating up to 16 wheelchair users. In 2018-19 it underwent a further conversion into a "Wheelchair Diner", providing much needed access to the SVRArmy's Dining ServicesTransport Trust together with [[600|LMR 600 Gordon]], and were repainted on several occasions for appearances in film and television productions including 'The Incredible Robert Baldick' (pictured).
