It saw regular use on engineers' trains after arrival in 1990 but has now been superseded by its air-braked equivalent. In 2016 the then owners donated it to the prototype [[Severn Valley Railway Charitable Trust Ltd GWR 9055 Nondescript Saloon | SVR Charitable Trust9055]], thus ensuring its long term place but was not delivered until 1923, by which time CB Collett had succeeded GJ Churchward as part of CME. Like the SVRprototype, 9369 was an unclassified or 's wagon fleetnondescript' saloon used for private hire, although unlike the prototype, it did not actually have toplight windows.
