BR 'Tunny' Ballast Wagon DB991124 is a Class 09 0-6-0 diesel electric shunting locomotive. The Class 09 is similar identical to the Class 08, final design of which GWR 20 ton all-steel ballast wagon; the SVR has a number of examples, GWR did not allocate telegraph code names to Civil Engineers wagons but with different gearing giving an increased top speed at the expense those of a lower tractive effort.
