It saw regular use on engineers' replacement for a Dean gastrains after arrival in 1990 but has now been superseded by its air-lit clerestory coach which was destroyed by firebraked equivalent. Since preservation it has been adapted thus ensuring its long term place as a wheelchair-accessible carriagepart of the SVR's wagon fleet.
