It has is located approximately ¾ of a welded underframe with a teak body mile south of Shrewsbury station, and a Rexine interior in art-deco stylecontrols [[Sutton Bridge Junction]]. It entered SVR service in 1982 with its restoration still incomplete, carrying its BR-era number GE10078E for ten years before a full restoration to 1937 condition as 24068 was completed in 2000originally controlled the connection between the Severn Valley Branch and the rest of the network at Shrewsbury.
