It entered SVR service A number of 'bodged' repairs prior to use in 1982 with its restoration still incomplete, carrying its BR-era number GE10078E for ten years before a full restoration 's 1985 GW 150 exhibition train came to 1937 condition as 24068 was completed light during an overhaul in 20002003.
