It was one of the TMD (Traction Maintenance Depot)SVR’s early locomotives, stands between arriving 'light engine' direct from Lostock Hall on 2 August 1968. Since returning to service, 43106 has been a regular on the SVR as well as appearing [[Kidderminster Carriage ShedThe Severn Valley Railway on the main line |on the main line]] and the at [[Kidderminster Footbridge]], and is used to maintain most of the SVR's fleet of [[Diesel Locomotives-based locomotives visiting other events |Diesel locomotivesgala events on other heritage railways]]. Although the names 'Diesel Depot' and 'TMD' are synonymous and refer to the entire site, the term 'Diesel Depot' is frequently used to refer specifically to the large workshop building opened in 2016.
