It was one of the SVR’s early locomotives, arriving 'Modified Halllight engine' 6960 Raveningham direct from Lostock Hall was resident on 2 August 1968. Since returning to service, 43106 has been a regular on the SVR between 1977 as well as appearing [[The Severn Valley Railway on the main line |on the main line]] and 1996.
