It arrived on the SVR in March 1990 having been acquired for use as the Kidderminster station shunter. After restoration, it has carried out that duty since the late 1990s, although it is currentluy undergoing an exhibit overhaul at the [[Diesel Depot | Kidderminster Railway MuseumDiesel Depot]]. It is gradually being restored to full working order in a project which began in 1994. It opened to the public for the first time in June 2015 and is open when possible during galas and other special events or by appointment with the Museum.
