It arrived on the SVR in 1898 March 1990 having been acquired for use as the Manchester Ship Canal CompanyKidderminster station shunter. After restoration, Hunslet 686 was later sold to ICI and named “The Lady Armaghdale”. Regularly steamed between 1970 and 2009it has carried out that duty since the late 1990s, she was extricated from although it is currentluy undergoing an overhaul at the [[The Engine HouseDiesel Depot | Kidderminster Diesel Depot]] in July 2019 to be transported from [[Bridgnorth]] for display at the Chateau Impney Hill Climb Motorsport event.
