They have a greater capacity than other ballast wagons on the line and fit in well with the similarly fitted private access road from [[BR 'Rudd' Ballast Wagons Trimpley Reservoirs & Waterworks| 'Rudd' Ballast WagonsTrimpley Waterworks to Trimpley Reservoir]] over the railway.
