  • 1969 LMS Stanier 8F 48773 arrived on the SVR in working order from BR's Rose Grove depot.[1]
  • 1972 Frank Cronin visited the derelict Heaton Mersey diesel depot, identifying that the shed could subsequently be acquired to form part of Bridgnorth MPD.[2]
  • 1976 The Up Home signal at Bewdley was taken down due to rot in the base of the post. The upper portion was saved and later became the down home signal at Arley.[3]
  • 1994 The contractor arrived on site to begin construction of the ring forming Kidderminster Turntable.[4]
