- 1932 The GWR Traffic Committee discussed improvements to the track layout and signalling at Bewdley South.[1]
- 1968 The section of track between Berrington and Shrewsbury, which had remained in use for testing Sentinel diesels after closure in 1963, was finally closed by BR.
- 1991 An episode of Rosie and Jim, titled 'Steam', first aired and included images of LMS Stanier 8F 48773 on Victoria Bridge.
