Howards End is a novel by E. M. Forster, first published in 1910, about social conventions, codes of conduct, and personal relationships in turn-of-the-century England.[1] The film is a critically acclaimed 1992 British romantic drama, produced by Merchant Ivory Productions with an all-star cast. It grossed approximately USD26 million. The film won three Oscars and many other awards.[2]
The scene at "Hilton Railway Station" was filmed at Bewdley station.[3] An image shows the actress Prunella Scales as the character 'Aunt Juley' posed at Bewdley in front of a Manor class locomotive in July 1991.[4]
