Two further scenes occur near the end of the film. The first shows a train with former resident [[GWR 3717 City of Truro]] crossing [[Victoria Bridge]] and arriving at Hilton with passengers alighting. The second, a few minutes later, shows passengers boarding and a close-up of City of Truro’s wheels as the locomotive sets off.

The scenes at Bewdley were filmed in July 1991. Two Alamy stock photographs of that date show Prunella Scales posed at Bewdley in front of locomotive [[GWR 3717 City of Truro]] and leaning out of the droplight of a GWR carriage (see links below). [[Arley]] station master Ian Latimer appears in the film's credits in the role of "Station Master"<ref>[https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104454/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0 Internet Movie Database]</ref>.
