==Preservation==
99965 was acquired for preservation by [[The GWR 813 Preservation Fund]], arriving on the SVR from Wolverton in on 5 May 1988.<ref name=SB9/>
Following a request from the boilersmiths at Bridgnorth for a suitable wagon to hold a number of superheater flues, 99965 was moved from store in Kidderminster to Bewdley in summer 1994 for replacement of ‘a few planks’. On arrival, the door planks, end planks, floor, curb rail, all four carrying springs, one buffer spring, and the handbrake ratchet pawl spring were all condemned and the simple job became a major overhaul.<ref>SVR News 111</ref> The axleguards were found to be out of alignment and were removed, straightened and re-riveted in place. The body was rebuilt using new timber, and 99965 was repainted in 1920s GWR livery during November 1994. On completion of this work, the wagon was then moved to Bridgnorth and loaded with superheater flues as intended.<ref>SVR News 113/114</ref>
