new as of format
After service, 9627 was used as an office at Roath Dock, Cardiff. It arrived on the SVR in September 1972 having been acquired by Mr Mike Wilkinson. From the mid-1970s it was used as part of the SVR's [[The Severn Valley Railway on the main line#SVR Carriages used on the main line | GWR main-line rake of carriages]] as well as on the SVR itself. Ownership was later assumed by [[Severn Valley Railway (Holdings) PLC | SVR(H)]].
{{As of July |2015|12}}, 9627 is regularly used as part of the Severn Valley Limited dining set. It is finished in GWR 1934-42 livery featuring the ‘shirt-button’ roundel.
