After overhaul, it featured in the Demonstration Goods Train in 2023.
In preservation, 93045 arrived at the National Waterways Museum in July 1990.<ref Name = "Survey" /> It was put up for sale in 2008 after the owner was asked to remove it, and was acquired by [[The GWR 813 Preservation Fund]], moving to the SVR on 31 August. It was in good condition on arrival, requiring only two floor planks to be fitted and a re-paint to match existing MINK A 93016<ref Name = "Survey" /><ref>SVR News 175</ref>
