Goods Wagons

Breakdown Tool Van 141 was built at Swindon in 1908. In service these 6-wheel Tool Vans carried a large selection of equipment and lifting tackle, and were paired with Riding/Dormitory Vans such as GWR89. They were vacuum-braked to permit fast running to the scene of accidents and breakdowns on the railway.

141 arrived on the SVR from Newton Abbot on 8 February 1971.[2] It is photographed in March 2015 situated in Bewdley Down Yard.
