1146 is one of four 1938-built Collett Corridor Third (TK) coaches on the SVR, along with [[GWR 1086 Full Third |1086]], [[GWR 1087 Full Third |1087]] and [[GWR 1116 Full Third |1116]]. They were built at Swindon to diagram number C77 as lot number 1593.
