The tender had been separated from the loco at Tyseley after withdrawal, and remained with British Rail at Willesden shed as a water carrier. It was spotted by an SVR member at Cadoxton en-route to Barry and then reserved for the SVR as a spare tender. It was stored behind [[Highley signal box]].
