*1904 The Bridgnorth Jourrnal reported that a [[Bridgnorth steam bus service|steam bus]] had run away backwards on Roughton Bank, resulting in injury to a passenger. Introduced by the GWR in November of that year, the buses were replaced by petrol-engined buses the following spring.<ref>SVR News 82</ref>.
