Sets remaining compartments September 2021
===COVID-19 pandemic coaching sets===
During 2020 and 2021 and the [[2020 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic|COVID-19 pandemic]] coaches were marshalled to provide compartment sets for groups of four to six people, an open carriage with tables for socially distanced single travellers and groups of up to four people, and a staff vehicle. No catering was provided. At August 2021 these were formed as below:
*Set Mk1 – BR Mk1: 4345, 25468, 4690, 21254, 25771, 25346, 16169
*Set GW - Great Western: 9627, 1086, 9055, 6562, 1116, 1146, 7284, 26986
*Set LMS – LMS and others: 43600, 2701, 24105, 6913, 2300, 12992, 24617, 26880
Following the return to ‘Hop On / Off’ traffic in September 2021 sets remained configured for ‘all compartment’ operation, in part ahead of Ghost and [[Christmas services]] which were being sold in this way.
