Bridgnorth Boiler Shop Ground Frame

Bridgnorth Boiler Shop ground frame (erstwhile DownIn reference to the direction of travel means away from the major terminus (i.e. towards Bridgnorth on the present day SVR) Yard Ground Frame) is located adjacent to Station Lane and is electrically released from Bridgnorth signal box.[1]

The electric lock on this ground frame had reached the end of its useful life and was replaced in February 1997 by an Annett's key release obtained from a key release instrument installed in a newly constructed location cupboard replacing the previous installation.[2]
