Benediction was a 2021 film biopic of World War 1 poet and soldier Siegfried Sassoon. It was written and directed by Terence Davies and featured many well-known British actors. It was released on 3 June 2022.
The film was shot on locations in the West Midlands, including the SVRSevern Valley Railway. The opening scenes of the trailer show an internal shot of a train pulling into Kidderminster, incongruously showing the 1940s Set L in platform 1.
