Goods Wagons

This BRBritish Rail or British Railways Goods Van was built at Ashford in 1969. It has a 29 ton capacity and is of type COV AB (later VAA).[1]

It arrived from Cardiff (Canton) in March 2012 and spent some years stored adjacent to Kidderminster Carriage Shed, being photographed there in March 2015 (below) and July 2021.

At the beginning of April 2023, 200176 was moved into the Diesel Depot at Kidderminster, where by the end of the month it had received a coat of red paint.

Following this repaint, June 2023 was 200176 moved to a new home in the No 2 headshunt at Highley where it would be used by the P-Way department as a second storage vehicle, joining BR Goods Van 200642 which was already there.
