Info added
As well as working engineers' trains, D7633 also featured regularly on diesel weekends and galas. However in late December 2000 it was 'red-carded' at Bridgnorth due to defective brakes and the electrical circuits being "''quite literally, in a shocking state''".<ref>SVR News 135</ref> In October 2003 it was sold to D. Hurd / The Dean Forest Diesel Association and moved to the Dean Forest Railway for repair,<ref>[http://www.selg.co.uk/DFDA/25283_photopage.html Dean Forest Diesel Association – 25283]</ref> with [[Diesel Locomotives hired by the SVR|Electro-Diesel E6005 (73005) arriving on loan]] to replace it.

In 2018 it was bought by Harry Needle Railroad Company, for restoration to main line use.<ref>[https://www.pressreader.com/uk/rail-uk/20180926/281968903612397 RAIL Magazine 26 September 2018] (Retrieved 2 October 2020)</ref> As of 2020 it is at Reid Freight Services Limited at Longton, Stoke-On-Trent<ref>[https://www.national-preservation.com/threads/d7633.1418640/ National Preservation] (Retrieved 2 October 2020)</ref>.
