9513 was moved to the Epping Ongar Railway in 2010 and by 2013 to the Battlefield Line. By April 2017 it was owned by Eastern Rail Services (ERS) and moved to Washwood Heath. It is one of several Mark 2 vehicles operated by ERS whose main rakes were based at the Mid-Norfolk Railway. With other ERS vehicles, in May 2017 they hired 9513 to the SVR for the Spring Diesel Festival, its air-braking capability being used by visiting mainline locomotives. 9513 remained painted in BR Blue Pullman livery.
